This is a young cockerel, some will say he’s a little too long for a Plymouth rock. I try to keep an assortment of different breeding features on the chicken farm. There are times that you have females that are really nice but maybe a tad short for showing. This breeding male would compliment them nicely. By doing this I don’t have to depend on anyone else to supply breeders to remedy the fault and my poultry line stays closed and no surprises by adding new and strange blood.
